2008-10-21-138_1 Salisbury Cat

Salisbury Cathedral, one of the most notable such buildings in England. It was built within a relatively short period as these things go, consequently it is built predominantly in Early English style. The spire was a later addition, and dominates the Town and surrounding countryside.

The light was very kind when I visited and I particularly like the sky in this image.
