2008-10-22-193_1 Dorset Kimmer

Clavell's Tower, Hens cliff, Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset. This tower was in the news recently as it was about to go over the cliff edge. It's been moved back a bit, which will preserve it for a few more years. It is now owned by the Landmark Trust, and you can go and stay in it; be warned, there is a very steep path up to it and the dive into the sea is probably a bit more than most people would want to try!
The shape of the tower suggests a portrait orientation for this image, however, it was such a very nice sky and the clouds arranged themselves so well for me that I decided to go with a landscape as well.
