London Wetland Centre (Barnes)
This major reserve for waterfowl is in West London, near to where I live. Portfolios in this group show photos of the birds and other animals, also the site's trees and flowers, together with some sunsets and storms that I've seen at the Centre.

Barnes offers a lot of examples of regenerating woodland as exemplified by the silver birch trees, it also has a mass of wildflowers. There is a very wide horizon, which makes it a good place to see dramatic skies and sunsets. |

I visited the London Wetland Centre and found one of the pair of Black Swans preening its feathers and splashing a great deal of water. |
London Parks
These are views of Hyde Park, Green Park, St James' Park, and Holland Park, with some views of the River Thames. There are also some views of Central London adjoining the Parks
R Thames
Views of the non tidal Thames; I have been visiting parts of the Thames mentioned in Jerome K Jerome's 'Three Men In A Boat', in particular I have travelled over a number of sections by 'Salter's Steamer'. I have also included pictures from the Thames Traditional Boat Show 2009 at Henley on Thames
Sunrises and Sunsets
I'm often around in the early morning and see amazing sunrises. I've collected these with some of my favourite sunsets as well.
