My photos are arranged in Portfolios of mostly similar photos, usually taken within no more than three months of each other.

Most of these photos (apart from the Diana Fountain in London's Hyde Park) are for sale. There are some photos that I can't sell because of copyright restrictions.

If you would like to purchase a photo please let me know the format (i.e. print, file, JPG, TIF, etc.) and size that you would like. Don't forget to tell me which photo you would like!

London Parks May 4th 2010 (Contains 6 photos) Views of London's Royal Parks (Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St. James's Park) in early morning light as Spring finally started to make its presence felt.	River Thames (Wallingford to Abingdon (Contains 50 photos) A series of views from a round trip that I made on a Salters Steamer between Wallingford and Abingdon. The River Thames over this section is very quiet but attractive. The main features along this section are the views of the Wittenham Clumps, Clifton Hampden, and the River front at Abingdon. The river here has a quiet beauty that I believe is typically English. It also seems to me to make a particularly pleasing slide show. Blenheim Park May 23rd 2010 (Contains 35 photos) Views in Blenheim Park on May 23rd, a day when there was an exceptional light combined with little wind.	London St James's Park Spring 2010 (Contains 47 photos) Views of spring in London's St James's Park as the extended Winter of 2009 - 2010 finally relaxed its grip.
Blenheim Park Spring 2010 (Contains 15 photos) After a prolonged cold and dismal Winter I was able to get to Blenheim to catch some views of the Park in Spring. There was a slight mistiness when I arrived there, but it did clear later and kindly laid on a warm and sunny day.	London January 2010 (Contains 23 photos) Views of London in January 2010; it was Winter, and it was cold too, even if we didn't see as much snow as nearly everywhere else in the British Isles
London Hyde Park Spring 2010 (Contains 15 photos) Finally Winter ended, and April turned out to be quite pleasantly warm with lots of Sun and some attractive light too. This album contains photos of the advance of Spring in London's Hyde Park	Holland Park Spring 2010 (Contains 10 photos) After a truly dismal winter April 2010 finally came good with a spell of 10 days of uninterrupted fine weather plus a number of other good days as well. I used the camera to good effect in the parks of West London. In this portfolio I have views of London's Holland Park in the Borough of Kensington.
London Kensington Palace Gardens Spring 2010 (Contains 44 photos) At last Winter realised it was really out-staying its welcome, and quite suddenly we went from interminable cold to actually quite warm! Spring suddenly started and I was able to set to work in London's Kensington Palace Gardens to record the onset of the leaves and the first young birds of the year. Blenheim Palace Grounds and Woodstock

Blenheim is one of the best examples of English landscape gardening. This group contains all my individual Blenheim Portfolios.

Blenheim Park Winter 2009 (Contains 42 photos) The weather didn't look too encouraging on Dec 27th, but I thought I would visit Blenheim for a walk anyway; when I got there I found the light was very good and I took a lot of photos. Unfortunately I missed the snow, but I hope you will enjoy the light nonetheless!	Blenheim September 2009 (Contains 91 photos) We had a few really fine days at the beginning of September. I dropped everything and rushed off to Blenheim, arriving early enough to get some really splendid photos of the classic Blenheim view of the Grand Bridge and island across the lake. I think they are some of the best photos I've taken of Blenheim; they make a wonderful slide show, and I hope you will enjoy watching them.

Although the weather was often dreadful, when the light was good it was very good indeed! Blenheim - The Great Sunset of November 5th 2006 (Contains 9 photos) I was at Blenheim on Nov 5th 2006 and saw one of the most spectacular sunsets ever. I find Winter an attractive season to photograph, the light is often excellent and there is still a lot of colour if you only look!
Blenheim Palace Grounds - Animals (Contains 12 photos) Here are some photos of animals that I've taken around the Park. There is also a butterfly house which yields attractive pictures!	Blenheim Palace Grounds - Gardens (Contains 3 photos) In addition to the Park there are also extensive gardens around the palace, these include a cascade where water leaves the main lake. There are also extensive Italian gardens with fountains.

London Wetland Centre (Barnes)

This major reserve for waterfowl is in West London, near to where I live. Portfolios in this group show photos of the birds and other animals, also the site's trees and flowers, together with some sunsets and storms that I've seen at the Centre.

For images from May 2008 see http://martinjames.photium.com/portfolio31682.html	London Barnes Wetland - Flowers Trees & Skies (Contains 23 photos) Barnes offers a lot of examples of regenerating woodland as exemplified by the silver birch trees, it also has a mass of wildflowers. There is a very wide horizon, which makes it a good place to see dramatic skies and sunsets.

R Thames

Views of the non tidal Thames; I have been visiting parts of the Thames mentioned in Jerome K Jerome's 'Three Men In A Boat', in particular I have travelled over a number of sections by 'Salter's Steamer'. I have also included pictures from the Thames Traditional Boat Show 2009 at Henley on Thames

River Thames Reading to Henley (Contains 47 photos) Views of the River Thames between Reading and Henley. I had so many great photos from this trip that it was difficult to select the best ones. I think it makes an excellent slide-show.	Thames Traditional Boat Rally (Henley - 2009) (Contains 15 photos) Photos taken at the Thames Traditional Boat Rally at Henley-on-Thames in July 2009. I rather like the traditionally constructed Thames boats and there are a surprising number of them still in existence; some of them, like Alaska, (constructed 1883) are of a considerable age. Also included are a few non boat photos that caught my eye.
River Thames Goring Gap (Wallingford to Reading) (Contains 26 photos) I went on a Salters Steamer from Wallingford to Reading and back in order to photograph places mentioned in Jerome K Jerome's 'Three Men in a Boat'. I don't think I could have wished for better weather, the Sun shone all day, there were hardly any clouds in the sky, and there was barely a breeze.	River Thames - Windsor to Marlow (Contains 30 photos) I made the trip between Windsor and Marlow by Salters Steamer on June 4th. The light was a little disappointing for the Windsor- Maidenhead section, but after Maidenhead the light improved and there were some awesome views of the stretch below Cliveden.
London River Thames Richmond to Hammersmith (Contains 53 photos) Photos from a walk along the river on December 17th 2006. There was a brilliant light and the tide was in too!	London River Thames Autumn Winter (Contains 59 photos) Photos from the River Thames between Putney and Richmond; I like the way that the light changes over the seasons.
