London Wetland Centre (Barnes)
The London Wetland Centre has been created from redundant water reservoirs, and is now a series of lakes and pools for Geese and other water fowl. It also has a considerable range of wildflowers. One of the features of the site is its wide, unobstructed, horizon, from which some stunning sunsets and other weather can be observed. I hope you will enjoy looking at my photos of this site. Barnes offers a lot of examples of regenerating woodland as exemplified by the silver birch trees, it also has a mass of wildflowers. There is a very wide horizon, which makes it a good place to see dramatic skies and sunsets. |
