***Latest Photos***
I realised that people weren't easily able to identify the most recent photos, so I've added this group for the latest ones. As new photos are added they will go into this group and older photos will move to their permanent home in one of the other groups.

These are photos of the St James's Park pelicans which displayed themselves rather nicely for me. I thought these birds had their wings clipped, but it seems I was wrong! In addition to the Pelicans I've got some photos of Admiralty Arch and some other features in The Mall, also the Home Office building in Petty France designed by Sir Basil Spence. | (Contains 16 photos)

The light was simply too good when I arrived at work, so I set off along the towpath towards Richmond in the gorgeous early Autumn morning light | (Contains 50 photos)
I woke to find a certain mistiness in the air, and rushed off to the parks. The amount of mist was very variable, the mist present when I arrived had cleared by the time I reached the bridge over the lake, then, suddenly, it all rolled back again! After about half an hour it cleared again, and there was a further hour or so of clear weather before it clouded over and the light went for most of the rest of the day. |
