River Thames Project
29th July 2009
I've been photographing parts of the River Thames below Oxford; this is partly because it's a very attractive area and partly because I have long been a fan of Jerome K Jerome's 'Three Men in a Boat' and I wanted to get an image of some of the areas in which incidents in the book were located.
I've taken quite a lot of photos from Salters Steamers; these give access to parts of the river that aren't accessible from the towpath or the Thames Path.
I've covered the area from Windsor to Wallingford so far; I will try to cover Oxford - Wallingford when it stops raining!
