The 'King Pool' has an arm which extends up a former dry valley; it's one of the quieter areas of the park and a personal favourite. I liked the light; normally I don't like to have a road in a photo, but this is almost the only surviving original park road; I also thought that the composition was more satisfactory with the road and its background included.
