Adjacent to Holland Park are two streets of very opulent houses (several are now used as embassies). I had always had it in mind to take some photos, and I particularly liked this view in the Winter sun with the shadow of the tree cast on one of these houses.
I have a suspicion that part of the original Holland Park was sold off and developed, older maps of the area seem to show the Park extending further to the North over the site of these houses. They are certainly very grand, although I'm not entirely sure that I'd want to live in one!
