One of a series of photos taken on March 20th when there was an especial quality to the light; the sun was near to setting and its rays made a special effect under the black clouds of the recent snowstorm.
This is one of two very similar photos, I think that conventionally this is the better photo, but personally I prefer the other one! It's interesting how the right hand tree doesn't seem to take the light in the same way as the plane tree on the left.
