The steam launch 'Alaska' approaching Henley Bridge from the direction of Marsh Lock; Alaska was operating trips during the Rally and they seemed to be very popular.
Alaska is licenced for 36 passengers, however, in its early days apparently it took 72 (there is a photo of one of these trips), it must have been distinctly cosy, the passengers would have needed to be good friends!
