2010-01-01-136 River Thames Hammersmith - Richmond - London January 2010
The River below Richmond skirts the old deer park and Kew Gardens; I'm not sure what the purpose may have been, but the towpath runs on what looks like it may be a dyke to prevent the gardens being flooded, a drainage ditch runs between the dyke and the gardens. On Jan 1st the tide was very high and came over the dyke creating this short lived waterfall. The Water was deep enough to make wading through it unattractive, so I had to wait for about 40 minutes until the tide went down.
