A wide angle view showing the Grand Bridge and the Palace together. I hope this gives an idea of the scale of the park. The Palace and Grand Bridge were built at the same time, however, it was fifty years before the lake was constructed! In this period the Grand Bridge crossed an ornamental canal which now lies beneath the lake.
