Blenheim Park May 23rd 2010

Views in Blenheim Park on May 23rd, a day when there was an exceptional light combined with little wind. There was a rally of Aston Martin cars in progress which impinged on some of my photos since from a distance it was rather difficult to distinguish between a car park and a classic car rally! So the photos of the view across the lake from the Town Gate are composed with a view to hiding as much as possible of the cars, which means that the Palace is also obscured.

All these photos were shot originally in RAW format (CR2), and converted to JPG format. I also have TIF available. If you are looking for a higher quality image then RAW or TIF is advised, however the files are very much larger! You may think that the JPG format is sufficient; these photos are in any event cut down from the full size, so a full size version in JPG will be of a higher quality than depicted here.
