Waverley 2008
Photos from the Paddle Steamer "Waverley" which I took when it visited London in October 2008
Waverley is a paddle steamer built in 1947 for service around the Scottish West Coast. It is now operated by a charity, and is the World's last sea going paddle steamer.
I've always massively enjoyed going on 'Waverley' the trips are great, the crew are helpful and friendly, and it has an awesome compound steam engine that drives the boat.
